SUMMARY:Coping and Thriving: Parenting a child with ASD
DESCRIPTION:Are you a caregiver of a young person living with ASD? The Healing Collective’s 6 week group\, “Coping and Thriving: Parenting a child with ASD” was created with caregivers in mind to address the unique challenges associated with parenting a child diagnosed with Autism. This group will address common themes identified by caregivers\, including caregiver anxiety\, loss of parenting confidence\, impacts on relationships\, and grief/loss. The group will provide useful coping strategies to manage stress and increase connection with caregivers and themselves\, their children\, and the community.
